Ryukyu-no (Okinawan) Rock – JET

If you’ve been keeping up with the site, then you know I’ve made a few changes. Hopefully these changes will keep everything current with the latest WordPress release. If you run into any problems, please let me know. Thank you.

The band would like to thank everyone who showed-up for the Rock ‘Till the Morning Sun CD Release Party at Top Note last night. We hope you had as good a time enjoying the music as the musicians had performing for you. A special note of thanks goes to Aya and EZ band for starting the night off with excellent perfomances and getting everyone “in the mood.” Again thank you all for your continued support.

I upgraded to WordPress 2.0.2 today. If you find any bugs please let me know.

Ryukyu Island rock band JET will be holding a release party for their new CD “Rock ‘Till The Morning Sun” on 19 March 2006, Sunday, at Top Note in Naha (located behind the Duty Free Shop). The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and guest band EZ kicks things off at 8:00 p.m. The charge is Â¥3000 which includes one CD, one free drink, and the cover (live) charge.

As I mentioned before, there seems to be an ongoing problem with one of the search engines listing a page that does not even exist (?page_id=9). I read somewhere that having an entity in the title causes trouble with a site. So I rearranged the name, Ryukyu Island Rock ‘n’ Roll 琉球搖滾樂™ (which ends with the trademark entity), to see if that will help the situation. I am sorry for any inconveniences this may have a caused. This is still the official website of the Ryukyu Island rock band JET.

UPDATE: the correct id for the page was (?p=9).

Due to a reoccurring problem, I had to re-vamp the site today. I was able to transfer most of the earlier info. Sorry for any inconvenience.
