Ryukyu-no (Okinawan) Rock – JET

We wish everyone a happy holiday season and want to let you know the new JET CD, “Rock ‘Till the Morning Sun”, has finally made it on island!!! It will be available at most local music stores and the club. We also would like to thank everyone who helped make this project a reality.

Well as most of you are aware, the CD still hasn’t made it to the point of release yet. There have been temporary set-backs that were beyond our control. However, we are still working on getting it out. Because of the various set-backs, I really don’t have an estimated release date. Thank you for your patience.

JET will be playing in Naha on Sunday, 4 December 2005. Cafe 4th (located near the RBC building on Hwy 58) is hosting the gala which also includes several other artists. The cover charge is 2,500 yen, with the doors opening at 8:30 p.m. and the event kicking off at 9:00 p.m.

JET is one of the bands scheduled to play at this year’s annual Gate 2 Fest on Sunday, 27 November 2005. There will be approximately six bands performing early in the evening with festivities scheduled to end at approximately 9 p.m.

For those of you who will be in Osaka on Sunday, 6 November 2005, JET will be making their annual trek to the area. Ivy, a club in the Umeda district of Osaka, will be the holding the concert this year. So if you get a chance, come out and join in the fun.

I will provide time and cover charge once I get the info.
