Ryukyu-no (Okinawan) Rock – JET

The Ryukyu Island rock band JET will be adding an additional night of music to their usual schedule at Live Music Bar JET for New Year’s Eve (Monday, 31 December 2007). The band will be hitting the stage around 9:00 p.m. and winding down around 1:40a.m.

The Ryukyu Island rock band JET is one of the bands scheduled to play at the upcoming Gate 2 Street festivities on Sunday, November 25, 2007. And, the band is also one of the acts set to perform at the Gate 2 Street concert hall on Sunday, December 2, 2007.

Also, the Sunday,December 2, gig will be a free event open to all.

*****Just received a call, as of 4:30 p.m. on Saturday 24 November, the band will be performing at 5:50p.m. at the festivities tomorrow – Sunday 25 November.

******According to the latest info provided – as of 11:00p.m. on Tuesday 27 November, the band will be starting at about 7:50p.m. at the Gate 2 Street concert hall this coming Sunday, 2 December.

The regular guitarist for the Ryukyu Island rock band JET will be unavailable on Friday 2 November, 2007. Standing-in for the evening will be former JET guitarist Kazufumi. If you have never had the pleasure of hearing this talented musician, you’re in for a treat. First set begins at 9:00 p.m. and the last set ends at 1:40 a.m.

Just a reminder, although the Ryukyu Island rock band JET will be playing at the breast cancer awareness charity festivities this coming Saturday, October 27, the band will be back in time to rock at Live Music Bar JET later that same evening. The band is scheduled to begin the first set at the regular 9:00 p.m. and finish the last set at 1:40 a.m.
